ExxonMobil Empowers High School Girls with Insight into Engineering at their 20th “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day”

WHAT: ExxonMobil is inviting more than 100 local girls to spend the day with women engineers to gain a glimpse into a STEM career during “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.” The girls will participate in several hands-on activities that demonstrate the creative side of science by getting them to think “outside the box” about the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math. They will also hear from a selection of panelists from engineering, projects, and operations.

This year celebrates the twentieth year that ExxonMobil has hosted “Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day” to help shape the lives and future careers of the young women in the community.

• Baker Middle School
• Brusly High School
• Helix Mentorship Academy
• Istrouma High School
• Northeast High School
• Scotlandville Magnet High School
• Tara High School
